McLachlan Place Racing Stables has made its mark in the Queensland horse racing industry by training many a great horse including our recent biggest sensation, the 2009 Magic Millions and Golden Slipper winner, Phelan Ready. Other successes include Virage De Fortune, Picaday, Natural Woman, Raw Instinct, Diamondsondinside, Key Bar Nights, Acorns, Facile Tigre and Absalon.

Just one hour north of Brisbane up the Bruce highway, makes it a convenient location in an ideal climate all year round for training thoroughbreds.

McLachlan Place in conjunction with Racing Queensland maintains the highest standard facilities to accommodate your thoroughbred with state of the art stabling, horse roll, wash down bays and equine walker along with what is regarded as some of the best training facilities in the land with the all weather cushion track, grass training track, plough track, bull ring as well as the swimming pool.

The turf club races almost every Sunday so the travel to the track is a simple walk from the on course stabling.
